Son noticed ceiling fixture glowing red but not coming on. He took off cover and smelled strong burning odor. The glass tube was broken near the base. The buld was blackened and the base was black, melted and not solid to the touch. Being in a ceiling fixture it was lucky it didn't start a fire!
If these weren't recalled they clearly aught to be! From the other remarks this wasn't an isolated insedent. They are a hazard! |
